The Funeral Directors Association of Kentucky Board of Directors voted at their most recent Board Meeting to partner with New Leaf Resources to provide you the New Leaf E-Magazine. This cutting edge aftercare product gives you the ability to connect with the families and individuals you serve in your community.

The E-Magazine is much different than just having articles to attach to a website. It contains a variety of articles covering a large cross section of grief and coping issues in addition to video clips. Each article can be printed out in a printer friendly version and all articles will have the sponsoring funeral home’s name across the top. The personalization of the magazine articles with your firm’s name provides just one more way for you to keep your name in front of the community you serve.

As more and more people turn to the internet to access information, you can provide that link at the click of a button. Here’s how it works. If the firm does not have a website, they simply give their families a card that directs the user to www.newleaf-magazine.com, and they will click on New Leaf Magazine. When they choose an article from the table of contents, they will be prompted to enter the user name and password and then the article will show up on the screen with your firm’s name across the header. An additional option is our J-peg button which can be attached directly to the firm’s website. This option allows users to reach the magazine directly through the funeral home website and is available at no additional charge.

The E-Magazine can also be used as a marketing and networking tool. The magazine user name and password can be distributed to local churches, hospices, hospitals support groups, schools and other agencies as a gift from the funeral home. It can be a point of advertising and promotion. The articles can also be printed as handouts for families, for support groups, as handouts at local health fairs or public presentations.
